เมื่อวันที่ 3 กรกฎาคม 2561 คณะกรรมาธิการยุโรปได้พิจารณาแก้ไขมาตรการการเพิ่มความเข้มงวดในการสุ่มตรวจ ครั้งที่ 28 ตาม Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/941 of 2 July 2018 amending Regulation (EC) No 669/2009 implementing Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the increased level of official controls on imports of certain feed and food of non-animal origin and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 885/2014 ใน EU Official Journal L 166/7 โดยปรับมาตรการการสุ่มตรวจผักจากไทย ดังนี้

มาตรการการสุ่มตรวจผักจากไทย

1. ยกเลิกการตรวจสารกำจัดศัตรูพืชตกค้างที่ระดับร้อยละ 20 ในถั่วฝักยาวสด ถั่วฝักยาวแช่เย็น และถั่วฝักยาวแช่แข็ง
2. คงการตรวจสารกำจัดศัตรูพืชตกค้างที่ระดับร้อยละ 10 ในพริกสด พริกแช่เย็น และพริกแช่แข็ง

          ทั้งนี้ ประกาศมีผลบังคับใช้ 3 วัน หลังจากที่ประกาศใน EU Official Journal (ประกาศเมื่อวันที่ 3 กรกฎาคม 2561) โดยจะมีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 6 กรกฎาคม 2561 เป็นต้นไป จนกว่าจะมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง
