เมื่อวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม 2560 คณะกรรมการสหภาพยุโรปได้ออกประกาศ Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) จำนวน 6 ฉบับ ดังนี้

1. COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2017/1273 of 14 July 2017 approving active chlorine released from sodium hypochlorite as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-types 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
2. COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2017/1274 of 14 July 2017 approving active chlorine released from calcium hypochlorite as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-types 2, 3, 4 and 5
3. COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2017/1275 of 14 July 2017 approving active chlorine released from chlorine as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-types 2 and 5
4. COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2017/1276 of 14 July 2017 approving peracetic acid generated from tetraacetylethylenediamine and sodium percarbonate as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-types 2, 3 and 4
5. COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2017/1277 of 14 July 2017 approving 2-octyl-isothiazol-3(2H)-one as an active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 8
6. COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2017/1278 of 14 July 2017 approving 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 11

ระเบียบดังกล่าวว่าด้วยการอนุญาตให้ใช้สารออกฤทธิ์ (Active substance) กับผลิตภัณฑ์ฆ่าเชื้อโรค (Biocidal products) ประเภทต่าง ๆ ที่ใช้ฆ่าหรือยับยั้งการเจริญเติบโตของสิ่งมีชีวิต เช่น แบคทีเรีย รา วัชพืช และแมลง เพิ่มเติมจำนวน 6 ชนิด โดยจะต้องเป็นไปตามรายละเอียดและเงื่อนไขที่กำหนดไว้ในภาคผนวกของระเบียบแต่ละฉบับ ระเบียบดังกล่าวออกตามระเบียบ Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 1062/2014 ซึ่งกำหนดให้มีการประเมินบัญชีรายชื่อของสารออกฤทธิ์ที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้ใช้ในผลิตภัณฑ์ฆ่าเชื้อโรค โดยสารออกฤทธิ์ทั้ง 6 ชนิด ข้างต้นผ่านหลักเกณฑ์การประเมินที่กำหนดไว้ในภาคผนวก V ของระเบียบ Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 โดยมีรายละเอียดของประกาศ ดังนี้

หมายเหตุ :

1. ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภท 1 : ใช้สำหรับสุขอนามัยของมนุษย์
2. ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภท 2 : ใช้สำหรับการฆ่าเชื้อโรคของพื้นผิววัสดุอุปกรณ์และเฟอร์นิเจอร์ซึ่งไม่ใช้สำหรับสัมผัสโดยตรงกับอาหารหรืออาหารสัตว์
3. ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภท 3 : ใช้สำหรับสุขอนามัยของสัตว์
4. ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภท 4 : ใช้สำหรับการฆ่าเชื้อโรคของอุปกรณ์ภาชนะ ภาชนะที่ใช้ในการบริโภค พื้นผิวหรือท่อที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการผลิต การขนส่งการจัดเก็บหรือการบริโภคอาหารหรืออาหาร (รวมทั้งน้ำดื่ม) สำหรับมนุษย์และสัตว์
5. ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภท 5 : ใช้สำหรับฆ่าเชื้อโรคในน้ำดื่มทั้งมนุษย์และสัตว์
6. ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภท 8 : ใช้สำหรับการเก็บรักษาผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้โดยการควบคุมสิ่งมีชีวิตที่ทำลายไม้หรือทำลายป่ารวมทั้งแมลง ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภทนี้มีทั้งผลิตภัณฑ์ป้องกันและรักษา
7. ผลิตภัณฑ์ประเภท 11 : ใช้สำหรับการเก็บรักษาน้ำหรือของเหลวอื่น ๆ ที่ใช้ในระบบทำความเย็นและเพื่อควบคุมสิ่งมีชีวิตที่เป็นอันตราย เช่น จุลินทรีย์ สาหร่าย และหอย ยกเว้น การใช้ฆ่าเชื้อในน้ำดื่มหรือน้ำสำหรับสระว่ายน้ำ
