คณะกรรมการสหภาพยุโรปได้ออกประกาศ Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/377 of 3 March 2017 concerning the non-approval of the active substance Pseudozyma flocculosa ATCC 64874 in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market ว่าด้วยการไม่อนุญาตให้ใช้  Pseudozyma flocculosa strain ATCC 64874 เป็นสารออกฤทธิ์ในผลิตภัณฑ์อารักขาพืช ซึ่งมีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 24 มีนาคม 2560 เป็นต้นไป โดยกำหนดให้ประเทศสมาชิกของ EU ต้องถอนการอนุญาตผลิตภัณฑ์อารักขาพืชที่มีส่วนผสมของ Pseudozyma flocculosa strain ATCC 64874 ช้าสุดภายในวันที่ 24 มิถุนายน 2560 และประเทศสมาชิกอนุโลมช่วงเวลาเปลี่ยนผ่านได้ แต่ต้องไม่เกินวันที่ 24 มิถุนายน 2561
